coven

Us women around the table, catching up since the last time we met. We are bonded with love for each other and knit by shared experiences.

Whenever we gather like this we comfort each other through difficult times and give others the space to be heard. But there is always someone who is eager to insert themselves where they should not, yet.

When one person talks, everyone else should listen and give them grace. It is exhausting when you are always interrupted. It is also exasperating watching someone struggle to get their voice heard, because someone else just wants to butt in with their own story.

Listening is a skill in itself. It then teaches you more skills, to be compassionate and have empathy for others. How can you relate to others if you are constantly looking inward?
